SARAH LUCERO: Building character - a healthy lesson not just for teens

Sarah Lucero KENS5-TV talks about Drum Cafe South
My ears have been ringing all day, but it doesn't bother me because I suppose it's the price to pay for listening to a great message all wrapped up in quite an entertaining package.

I volunteered to help out at my son's junior high career day forum. That day, the principal invited numerous companies, professionals and programs to come to the school to do a show and tell type presentation for the students about careers. They have engineering companies, law enforcement, zoological exhibits and many others come out.

See what Sarah Lucero, KENS5-TV says about Drum Cafe South.

We are about interactive drumming activities. Music is a universal language — there’s rhythm in all of us — that allows us to communicate, work together and experience a common sense of belonging. Through music, we learn to be receptive and creative at the same time.
